Breckenridge is a 148-year-old quaint Victorian town in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. As one of the nation’s premier year-round resorts, Breckenridge offers an incredible selection of activities. Whether you desire fresh air and sunshine, playing hard and breaking sweat, or the pursuit of fine art, music and a scrumptious meal, this historic mining town offers it all.
There's plenty to keep you occupied while visiting us. Whether you're an exercise enthusiast, a shopping buff, or a relaxation addict, we've got just the right activity for you and your family. We not only ski in the winter, we also have available; Dog-sled tours, Snow-Mobiling adventures, cross country ski tours, tubing activities, hot air balloon rides, and dinner sleigh rides. In summer there are more things to do such as: the Alpine Slide, fishing, jeeping, hiking, road biking, rafting, hunting, racing, parades, mountain biking, lift rides, and camping. If you enjoy mountain festivals, we have those around Breckenridge as well. In June there is the Breckenridge Festival of Film, in July we have an Arts Festival and in August there is the our Genuine Jazz and Wine Festival, just to name a few. For our music lovers the National Repertory Orchestra is hosted by the Town of Breckenridge all summer, as well as the Bach, Beethoven, and Breckenridge Music Festival.
